The Samyang 50mm T1.5 VDSLR manual focus lens can be used in cameras with image size up to Full Frame 35mm. Its Low T-number gives better light gathering power and greater choice when it comes to selecting depth of field. Its optical construction comprises 9 Elements in 6 Groups including a “H-ASP” Hybrid Aspherical and a Glass Aspherical (ASP) element. H-ASP gives exceptional reduction of chromatic aberration and great contrast levels right to the edge of the image, even at wide apertures. The optical surfaces have been treated with Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) to optimise light transmission as well as minimising ghosting and flare, working beneficially with the supplied petal lens hood.
